OUR PURPOSE

For Life. Not School. We Learn.

Our aim in creating Tokyo Adventure Kids is to give children the opportunity to learn various city & country life skills and develop confidence and determination through a wide range of activities in an English speaking environment. Through our camps children will make & expand friendships, move through different cultures and experience the beauty and reality of nature, while mentally & physically testing and pushing themselves and each other. They will practise leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and responsibility through fun and engaging activities.

We aim to use every challenging situation as a maturing moment; recognizing difficulties, empathising, modelling and encouraging empowering thought processes as well as the physical determination & action it takes to make it through obstacles.

We aim to speak and teach in a way that imparts the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions and teaching strategies for managing feelings in a positive and supportive manner. Learning how to respond to challenges rather than react; understanding personal choice and the responsibility that accompanies that. Learning to communicate and live in a way that helps us and those around us to succeed.

We aim to impart our experience and knowledge while openly admitting that we all make mistakes and that we are all constantly learning. We will model the process of investigating our assumptions so that we may find the right answers and make decisions accordingly.
